Upcoming Clive Barker Releases – Fear Eternal

I’m a Clive Barker fan. You may be able to tell from the reviews of his books and movies on the site.
Recently Clive Barker took to Reddit to tell fans that he is working a new novel call Deep Hill, but didn’t give much indication about what this novel would be about. He also teased that there is a collection of out-of-print short stories and new stories that he is considering releasing. There is even a novella called Mercy and the Jackal which is expected to be added to a collection he will be calling, “Fear Eternal”

Clive Barker is also in the middle of getting ready to release a book of poems entitled “Presence of this Breath”.

The presence of this breath.
The presence of the stratosphere.
The presence of the void.

The presence of presences.
The presence of those who are not present.

The silence of their bodies.

All silences.
All voids.

The presence of this breath.

You can catch some readings from Presence of this Breath here> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQVrvO5gMrA

ARABAT is also getting books 4 and 5 in the future as well.

Personally I thought hat Clive Barker was more interested in painting lately than his writings so finding out all for this was just a joy. Having more content from Backer will be nice and I am hoping to be able to read Deep Hill towards the end of 2021.

There is talks of a reboot of Hellraiser which is gaining more popularity with the launching of the Nightbreed series. Clive Barker’s works seem to be having a resurgence of late as more of his works are being reproached by Hollywood. It’s interesting because his career followed Steven King’s and now after King had is recent resurgence Clive is again following a few years later in popularity.
