Director William Eubanks Confirmed that the monster in the movie Underwater Is Cthulhu. Which changes a bit about how I view the movie. William Eubanks confirmed in an interview with Youtube reviewer Mr. H that the deep-sea creature was Cthulhu. He called Underwater a “secret Lovecraft love story”.
